Plagiarism Policy
The Agricultural Science and Practice journal pays special attention to the originality of scientific publications and adherence to the principles of academic integrity.
Authors’ Responsibility
The editorial board informs authors about their full personal responsibility for the authenticity of the article content. To prevent improper borrowing or use of other scientists’ research results, authors must strictly adhere to the ethics of scientific citation.
Plagiarism Check
The editorial board strongly recommends that authors self-check the scientific article text for plagiarism before submitting it to the editorial office.
All manuscripts submitted to the editorial office undergo mandatory uniqueness verification using specialized software. In case plagiarism is detected at any stage of article review, the manuscript is returned to the author without further consideration.
Additional Measures to Ensure Publication Originality
The journal’s editorial board reserves the right to reject an article at any stage of the editing process if doubts arise regarding the originality of the presented results or proper citation of used sources.
During the review process, special attention is paid to the originality and scientific novelty of the presented materials, which is one of the key criteria for evaluating manuscripts for publication.
Reuse of Materials
Self-plagiarism (reuse of significant parts of one’s own previous works without proper citation) is also considered a violation of publication ethics. Authors should clearly indicate in their manuscripts if results have been published previously, even if they are the authors of these previous publications.
Measures Upon Detection of Plagiarism After Publication
If plagiarism is detected after the article is published, the journal’s editorial board has the right to publish a retraction, notify the institutions where the authors work, and consider banning the publication of works by these authors in the journal for a certain period of time.
